Our Wonderful Christmas Concert!
Thank you so much to everyone who attended our Christmas Celebration on Friday 11th December. It was a wonderful morning filled with joy and laughter and the children loved seeing all their parents there in the audience as well as receiving a visit from Santa Claus!
Lots of preparations went into the concert and the little ones worked very hard on practicing for the day. Every single child did a fantastic job and we couldn’t be prouder!
The preschool was decorated with plenty of Christmas cheer which created a joyful atmosphere that the children adored.
We had Snoopy and a snowy Christmas tree painted upon the windows.
Balloons and hand-made Christmas trees were hung above the rooms.
Our outside area was also twinkling with tinsel and bells!
There was certainly no shortage of Christmas spirit and decorations no matter where you looked!
The performance was split into three age groups. We had the 4 year olds singing ‘Away in a Manger’ in the setting of the nativity scene.
We had Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise Men, Angels, Animals and of course Baby Jesus.
The three year olds were very festive as they were appointed Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer as their special Christmas performance. They had gorgeous little handmade antlers made with their own wee hand prints!
The two year olds and babies sang ‘I’m a Little Star’ and what a beautiful job they did! After all the performances we had a visit from a very special person, Santa Claus himself came to our Lighthouse Preschool!
The children were in absolute awe as they were each gifted a present.
There were endless smiles, giggles, and gasps of excitement!
The day was commenced with a delicious assortment of morning tea for the parents and children to enjoy.
It was a wonderful morning for everyone involved and the children had a fantastic time performing for you all. Thank you to all the parents who attended, the children were very excited to share their efforts with you. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Lighthouse at-home.
