Happy Valentine’s Day!

On this special occasion, our 4 year-olds made a visit to the Bucklands Beach Rest Home in our local community together with our centre directors and kaiako to spread our love and care.

It was such a beautiful day for an excursion around Bucklands Beach. We were lucky to have the opportunities to enjoy and adore the blue horizon as we were traveling down there. We saw lots of boats in different colours and shapes and met a few big buses that made our tamariki think that “they’re following us everywhere“.

The residents adored our Aroha performance and loved our little card and the “love-heart” charms we made. Ka Pai, 4 year-olds!

To thank our tamariki for such a brilliant performance and having such a kind heart to look after the residents in our community, we went to the ice-cream shop right next to the rest home. We all had some ice-cream/ sorbet while enjoying the nice sea view through the windows.

We wish to continue to educate our tamariki to appreciate our surroundings and sharing our joy by having more connections within our community.
